Conservation of the natural environment of the Shin-Tomei Expwy (September 23, 2016)

Central Nippon Expressway Company Limited Hadano Construction Office (Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Director, Isao Nagahama), on September 9, 2016, the Shin-Tomei Expwy Natural Environment Study Group (Chair: Akira Kameyama, Professor Emeritus, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology) )has been held. At the study meeting, when constructing the Shin-Tomei Expwy, based on the situation of the natural environment around the planned route, we reported the results of the investigations and examinations that have been carried out so far, and discussed future research plans and conservation measures. .

A report was made on the results of a survey of habitat and breeding status of goshawks conducted from January to August. They also discussed future conservation measures.

We reported on transplantation of rare plants around the planned route and monitoring during construction.
