Construction and work carried out by neighboring municipalities, landowners, etc. within an area that affects Expressway is called adjacent construction. Accidents and incidents caused by adjacent construction not only affect Expressway facilities, but can also lead to irreparable damage to workers and Expressway users. For this reason, if you are planning to carry out adjacent construction work within an area that may affect Expressway managed by our company, we ask that you meet with us in advance and take the necessary steps to ensure safe construction.
Furthermore, in order to prevent accidents due to nearby construction work, we may ask you to hold consultations early and take necessary safety measures, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
Please contact the relevant office directly for inquiries regarding occupancy work to be carried out within Expressway area.
Examples of adjacent construction
Please contact us in advance if you are carrying out excavation work, work using heavy machinery, work using scaffolding, or work that will affect Expressway, or work that will result in traffic restrictions on the main Expressway.
