Shin-Tomei Expwy Conservation of Natural Environment (October 23, 2015)

Hadano Construction Office of Central Nippon Expressway Company Limited (Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Director Koichi Mizuhashi), on September 11, 2015, the Shin-Tomei Expwy Natural Environment Review Committee (Chair: Akira Kameyama, Professor Emeritus, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology) )has been held. At the study meeting, when constructing the Shin-Tomei Expwy, based on the natural environment surrounding the planned route, we reported the results of the surveys and examinations that had been carried out so far, and discussed the future survey plan and maintenance measures etc. .

2． Survey of birds of prey and examination of conservation measures
A report was made on the results of a survey of habitat and breeding status of goshawks conducted from January to August. They also discussed future conservation measures.
3． Eco Road Survey and Planning Review
We reported on transplantation of rare plants around the planned route and monitoring during construction.
Four. Review Committee Discussion Results
  • We received the consent of future survey response and preservation measures in consideration of preservation measures for birds of prey.
