Conservation of the natural environment of the Shin-Tomei Expwy (October 9, 2014)

Central Nippon Expressway Company Limited Hadano Construction Office (Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Director Koichi Mizuhashi), on September 19, 2014, the Shin-Tomei Expwy Natural Environment Study Group (Chair: Akira Kameyama, Professor Emeritus, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology) )has been held. At the study meeting, when constructing the Shin-Tomei Expwy, based on the situation of the natural environment around the planned route, we reported the results of the investigations and examinations that have been carried out so far, and discussed future research plans and conservation measures. ..

A report was made on the results of a survey of habitat and breeding status of goshawks conducted from January to August. They also discussed future conservation measures.

We reported on the status of transplantation of rare plants around the planned route.
