Conservation of the natural environment of the Shin-Tomei Expwy (September 20, 2013)

At the study meeting, when constructing the Shin-Tomei Expwy, based on the situation of the natural environment around the planned route, we reported the results of the investigations and examinations that have been carried out so far, and discussed future research plans and conservation measures. .

2. Survey of raptors and examination of conservation measures
As a result of conducting a habitat / breeding status survey from January to August, we confirmed the flight and reproduction of goshawks, etc., reported the installation status of artificial substitute nests, examination of conservation measures, and discussed future conservation measures. .
3. Eco Road Survey and Plan Review
Regarding the habitation and growth status of rare plants around the planned route, we confirmed the survey results before construction and discussed the eco-road maintenance plan draft regarding the transplantation and greening policy of rare plants.
Four. Review Committee Discussion Results
  • (1) In the study of conservation measures for birds of prey, we obtained an understanding of future research policies and conservation measures. It should be noted that some of the maintenance measures will be reconsidered next time.
