Hello everyone. I will explain five themes today. First of all, the current state of business for January, Expressway As for the business situation of, the fee income is 18.2% lower than the same month last year. Breakdown is 18.0% for high speed and 20.6% for one. Next, in terms of traffic, the daily average increased by 6.2% compared to the same month last year. The breakdown is 5.0% for high speed and 10.9% for one. For high speeds, the special holiday discount was applied on January 4th, 5th and 2nd, so the number of traffic increased, but at the same time, revenue from revenues decreased due to a significant increase in discounts. The situation is the same.
The ETC discount is 29,021 million yen, an increase of 82.6% compared to 15,890 million yen the same month of the previous year. As a result, the ETC discount rate is about 46.0%. The fee income when there is no ETC discount is 63,034 million yen, an increase of 9.7% from the same month last year.
The traffic volume by car always reported is 109.6% for mini-cars, 104.6% for regular cars, 100.8% for medium-sized cars, 107.2% for large cars, 115.6% for extra-large cars, and 105.0% overall. There was a factor that the traffic volume was low last year. Compared to the year before last, light cars and regular cars have increased due to discounts. Light cars account for 117.7%, regular cars 105.5%, medium-sized cars 92.9%, large-sized cars 96.3%, oversized cars 94.1%, and overall 104.2%. It is the road business body in the future, as for road construction or maintenance management, we grasp the candidate projects, and somehow to collect various information and actively work from now on I want to make it happen.
We opened an office in Hanoi at the end of last year and sent people from here to collect information or receive orders for projects.
Fortunately, the relationship between the government of Japan and Vietnam is very good, so this infrastructure project is a long-running place where the relationship between governments is good, so I think that it is good to do such a place and Vietnam is the biggest goal But I think I can expect it from now on. I would like to announce it again when the story becomes concrete.
For overseas business as well as Vietnam, we wanted to do mainly in Asia. We signed a memorandum with a Malaysian road company, and exchanged information, accepted trainees, etc. It has already begun. There are no new orders based on the alliance with Plus, but I think it will open up in the future.
There are various introductions in other countries as well, so I would like to do a field survey and find out what is possible.
The number of employees in our overseas business is limited, and we are currently registering 50 people after taking in-house surveys and hopes, but considering the future business development, 50 people are not enough, so 100 people I want to increase it to about 10 people every year to 100 people in 5 years.
Currently, there are 15 people who are directly in charge of overseas business. Large I want to increase it according to the situation. That is the current situation.
