Next is the construction situation.

When using the Expressway, in the unlikely event that the vehicle stops due to an accident or breakdown, do not overconfide that the following vehicle will notice it, but use a flare or a stop indicator to signal the following vehicle. please do. Then, pay attention to the following vehicle and evacuate to a safe place such as outside the guardrail to protect yourself, and then report the accident or breakdown situation.

While driving, pay close attention to the front with the awareness that "there may be unexpectedly stopped vehicles or people in front of you", and try to drive safely, especially during the hours when you tend to drive in the middle of the night or early in the morning. [Opening of the Enshu Morimachi Smart Interchange on the Shin-Tomei Expressway Tomei Expressway]

On the 17th of last week, the Shin-Tomei Expressway Tomei Enshu-Morimachi Smart Interchange District Council announced that the Shin-Tomei Expressway Tomei Enshu-Morimachi Smart Interchange, which we have been working on together with Morimachi, Shuchi-gun, Shizuoka Prefecture, will be on Saturday, March 29, 15th. The Enshu-Morimachi Smart Interchange is a smart interchange that connects to the Enshu-Morimachi parking area between the Mori-Kakegawa Interchange and the Hamamatsu-Hamakita Interchange, and vehicles with ETC on-board equipment and a vehicle length of 12 m or less can enter and exit 24 hours a day.

In November 2012, we established the "Technical Review Committee on the Long-term Conservation and Renewal of Expressway Assets" to discuss the need for large-scale renewal and repairs and their countermeasures.

On April 25, 2013, the "Interim Report" was published, and the Review Committee has continued to carry out detailed and concrete studies.
The content of the final proposal will be discussed at the final committee on the 22nd tomorrow, and then the content will be explained to the reporters who gathered.

In December 2012, Chuo Expressway Sasago Tunnel accident occurred, so NEXCO3 company working was set up and a separate study was conducted on the ideal way of inspection to improve the reliability of inspection. The committee also receives advice.
We recognize that the recommendations of this committee provide a direction for the permanent integrity and functioning of Expressway assets with a view to the future. In the service area of Shin-Tomei Expressway Tomei, which opened two years ago, we opened more than 130 stores and received about 57 million customers in one year. Regarding future developments, there are currently no plans for store openings other than the Expressway. We are talking with Shizuoka Prefecture about holding a study session, but so far no specific location has been decided.
