Tour Overview

2026 "Look at the Highway! Tours" is now open.
This year's tour will be held in a total of 12 locations in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Shizuoka, Yamanashi, and Nagano prefectures. This is a tour where you can enjoy and learn about the behind-the-scenes of Expressway that you can't usually see, such as a tour of construction sites in Shin-Tomei Expressway, a site tour of traffic jam countermeasure projects in Tomei and Chuo Expressway, work experience that protects safety and security in Tomei, Chuo Expressway, and Nagano Road, and a trial ride of a car that works in Expressway. We look forward to your application.
 

Recruitment period / target

(Application Period) The application period varies depending on the month the event is held.
Please apply within the application period below, depending on your preferred month of the event.

(Target audience) Elementary school students (Participants must be accompanied by a guardian (18 years or older))
*The capacity includes the number of applicants, including accompanying persons.
*Infants and preschool children who are not eligible for the tour cannot accompany the participant for safety reasons.

How to apply

*Please note that your application will be considered a "provisional reservation" at the time of submission.
*A lottery will be held after the application period ends, and only winners will be notified by email.
*Please note that we will not contact anyone who is not selected as a winner.

Contents of the event

*NEXCO Central Japan signed a collaboration and cooperation agreement with Gakunan Railway Co., Ltd. in July 2023 with the aim of contributing to the revitalization of the local community, centered on Fuji City, and is carrying out various businesses.

Please be aware of the following when applying.

1. Participation fee is free. However, all transportation expenses from home to the meeting place and necessary accommodation expenses will be borne by the participants.
2. We cannot answer inquiries regarding the lottery results.
3. In the event of rain or bad weather, the tour course may be changed or the event may be canceled.
4. We will take a picture of the event for use in our public relations activities. The photos taken will be posted on our official website.
5. There is a possibility of media coverage on the day of the tour.
6. The event end time may be around the scheduled time.
7. Personal information such as the name of the person making the reservation will only be used for the following purposes, and will not be used for any other purpose nor provided to a third party without the customer's consent.
