- Accepting refund applications for ETC system failures (only for customers paying by cash or credit card)

We would like to offer our sincere apologies to our customers and many others for the inconvenience caused by the wide-area ETC system failure that occurred on Expressway managed by Central Nippon Expressway Company Limited from Sunday, April 6th to Monday, April 7th. We would like to inform you about the handling of tolls for customers who passed through toll gates where the failure occurred.
①About handling of usage fees
Regarding the handling of charges for customers who passed through the toll gate where the outage occurred during the time period in which the outage occurred (details),

②About accepting refund applications (only for customers who pay by cash or credit card)
Customers who pay by cash or credit card (※1) will receive a QUO card equivalent to the usage fee.

Once we have completed our verification process for your application, we will refund you the amount of your usage fee in the form of a Q-card.
Customers who have paid with an ETC credit card, ETC personal card, or ETC corporate card (※2) can apply for a refund.
Such procedure is not necessary.*1 "Credit card" refers to credit cards other than ETC cards.
*2 For customers who pay with an ETC corporate card, the amount used will be deducted from the bill from Expressway company.
