○When rain continues for a long period of time (cumulative rainfall)
○ The combination of continuous rainfall and hourly rainfall exceeds a certain level (combined rainfall).
○ If strong winds that would hinder driving are observed.
○ If the effects of high waves are confirmed*If a road closure is initiated, customers using service areas (SAs) and parking areas (PAs) within the closed section may be unable to move until the closure is lifted.
*The amount of rainfall so far has loosened the ground, increasing the risk of landslides.
Therefore, the road closure will only be lifted after a period of rain-free weather has passed, followed by inspections, work, and confirmation of safety.
