Regarding Expressway tolls in the Tokyo metropolitan area, with the shift to a usage-oriented toll system from April 2016, a "seamless toll based on the origin and destination" system has been introduced for ETC vehicles to ensure that users of expressways such as Ken-O Road are not disadvantaged in terms of tolls.

From October 1, 2026, with the review of tolls for Shuto Expressway roads, there are sections where the amount of the toll amount applied to the Shuto Expressway road toll will be changed for seamless tolls based on the start and end points.
