ETCシステム障害に関する還元申請の受付について（現金・クレジットカードでお支払いのお客さま専用）: 中日本高速道路株式会社が管理する料金所で発生した広域的なETCシステム障害につきまして、ご利用のお客さまをはじめ多くの皆さまに、多大なるご迷惑をおかけしたことを、改めて心よりお詫び申し上げます。
4月6日（日）から4月7日（月）までの間、料金所の出口または料金をいただく入口で障害が発生した時間帯に、現金またはクレジットカード（※1）でお支払いいただいたお客さまにつきましては、ご利用料金相当額のクオカードにより還元させていただきます。

還元申請の対象となるお客さまにおかれましては、以下の還元申請フォームから申請をお願いいたします。申請内容について確認作業が完了次第、ご利用料金と同額相当のクオカードにより還元させていただきます。

なお、ETCクレジットカード・ETCパーソナルカード・ETCコーポレートカード（※2）でご精算されたお客さまは、還元申請に係るお手続きは不要です。

※1　「クレジットカード」は、ETCカード以外のクレジットカードを指します。
※2　ETCコーポレートカードでご精算されたお客さまにおかれましては、ご利用金額と同額を高速道路会社からの請求分から減額いたしますので、還元申請いただく必要はございませんが、大口・多頻度割引の割引率の再計算のため、引き続き、走行のお申し出（一覧表の作成）について、ご協力をお願いいたします。詳しくは、NEXCO中日本の大口・多頻度割引ページをご確認ください。

1．還元申請の対象となるお客さま

4月6日（日）から4月7日（月）に広域的なETCシステム障害が発生した料金所の出口または料金をいただく入口で障害が発生した時間帯に、現金またはクレジットカードでお支払いいただいたお客さま

2．還元額および還元の方法

ご利用料金と同額相当のクオカードにて還元いたします。

3．還元の手続き方法

還元申請の対象となるお客さまは、以下の還元申請フォームから必要情報をご入力いただき申請をお願いいたします。

4月6日ETCシステム障害時のご利用料金について: We would like to once again offer our sincere apologies to our customers and many other parties for the inconvenience caused by the widespread ETC system failure that occurred on Expressway managed by Central Nippon Expressway Company Limited from Sunday, April 6th to Monday, April 7th.

Among the toll booths where the outage occurred, there was one that continued to communicate wirelessly with ETC, and after checking the billing data, it was found that the data was normal. For the customers who used the tolls, payment procedures are currently being carried out through the card companies, etc. (You will soon receive a bill).

In light of the seriousness of the confusion and inconvenience caused to our customers, we have decided to provide a refund to customers who passed through the affected toll gates and paid the toll at a later date in the form of an ETC mileage service rebate of the amount of the toll used, a reduction in the amount charged, or the sending of a QUO card.

Regarding efforts to prevent accidental entry in cooperation with navigation application companies

NEXCO CENTRAL (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") will strengthen its efforts to prevent mopeds from accidentally entering Expressway when using navigation apps. Starting March 26, 2024 (Tuesday), NAVITIME Japan Co., Ltd.'s ``Delivery NAVITIME'' app will use a screen display and voice guidance to warn people at points where mopeds are likely to accidentally enter Expressway. We will start providing information on points to be careful of when entering by mistake. This initiative was made possible through collaboration between six Expressway companies, including our company, and Navitime Japan Co., Ltd.

When the delivery vehicle is set to be a "moped", entrances and exits where mopeds are likely to enter Expressway by mistake are displayed as "accidental entry caution points" on the smartphone app screen. In addition, an icon indicating the distance to the point and the prohibition of entry will be displayed, and a voice will alert you by saying, ``There is a high-speed entrance in front of you. Please be careful.''

By supporting safer and more secure delivery, we will prevent mopeds from erroneously entering Expressway and reduce traffic accidents.

There are 1,105 cases of accidental entry of motorbikes, bicycles, and pedestrians onto Expressway each year within our jurisdiction.※1Of these incidents, mopeds account for 54%, more than half. We are working on-site to prevent accidental entry by installing green colored pavement and road stickers near Expressway entrances and exits.※2. In addition, in response to accidents caused by mopeds involving accidental incursions when using navigation apps, which have been on the rise in recent years, we have created a video that introduces ``How to set route guidance that does not use Expressway'' when using navigation apps.※3We are working on awareness-raising activities in collaboration with related organizations by creating information and flyers.
