Accepting refund applications for ETC system failures (only for customers paying by cash or credit card): We would like to offer our sincere apologies to our customers and many others for the inconvenience caused by the wide-area ETC system failure that occurred on Expressway managed by Central Nippon Expressway Company Limited from Sunday, April 6th to Monday, April 7th. We would like to inform you about the handling of tolls for customers who passed through toll gates where the failure occurred.

①About handling of usage fees
Regarding the handling of charges for customers who passed through the toll gate where the outage occurred during the time period when the outage occurred (details),

②About accepting refund applications (only for customers paying by cash or credit card)
Customers who pay by cash or credit card (*) will receive a QUO card equivalent to the amount of their usage fee.

Customers who pay with an eligible IC card should fill out the rebate application form (Here Please apply from here.
Once we have completed our verification process for your application, we will refund you the amount of your usage fee in the form of a Q-card.
In addition, customers who paid with ETC credit cards, ETC personal cards, or ETC corporate cards can apply for a rebate.
Such procedure is not necessary.

*"Credit card" refers to credit cards other than ETC cards.

NEXCO Central Nippon (Central Nippon Expressway Company Limited, Head Office: Naka-ku, Nagoya; Chairperson of the Board and CEO: Takekazu Kaneko) has compiled financial statements and business results for the fiscal year ending March 2011 (April 1, 2010 to March 31, 2011).
The format of financial statements, account titles, etc. are prepared in accordance with laws and regulations such as the "Regulations on Terminology, Format and Preparation Methods of Consolidated Financial Statements" (Ministry of Finance Ordinance No. 28 of October 30, 1976), as well as the provisions of the "Accounting Regulations for Expressway Projects, etc." (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism No. 65 of June 1, 2005).
