Hazard lamps behind the traffic jam! !!

Rear-end collisions are more likely to occur in or behind traffic. If you encounter a traffic jam and drive at low speed or stop, turn on the hazard lamps and signal the following vehicle to avoid a rear-end collision.

The merging at the time of traffic jam is the merging of fasteners! !!

Congestion is more likely to occur at places where the interchanges and service areas merge into the main Expressway because the number of lanes decreases. Also, if you join from the middle of the acceleration lane, the flow of traffic will deteriorate. When merging, please proceed to the top of the acceleration lane and cooperate with "fastener merging", which merges one by one alternately.

Let's join each other alternately.

If you join from the middle of the acceleration lane, the traffic flow will be poor.

Which is high beam or low beam?

Let's switch the headlights frequently (high beam ⇔ low beam) according to the road conditions and the time of day. If you have a preceding vehicle or an oncoming vehicle, switch the headlight to a low beam.

Lights on the tunnel! !!

Be sure to turn on the lights in the tunnel to inform the cars around you of your presence. If you do not turn on the light, there is a risk that you may be hit by another vehicle behind you or you may suddenly change lanes.

  • Let's turn on the lights early in the rain, snow, and dusk.

Cloudy glass in the tunnel !?

When entering a tunnel on a cold day, the windshield may suddenly become cloudy. Use a windshield wiper to remove cloudiness and turn on the air conditioner or open windows to reduce the temperature difference from the outside air.

STOP! ETC lane contact accident

The ETC lane may be closed for inspection. If your ETC lane is closed or the red light is on, check your safety and try another lane. In addition, the opening / closing bar does not open when an ETC card is not inserted or a vehicle that does not support ETC is mistakenly entered. If you pass by without opening and closing the bar, be sure to contact NEXCO CENTRAL Customer Service Center (0120-922-229).

Smart IC is temporarily stopped! !!

The smart IC is an interchange only for ETC. Vehicles without an ETC card are not allowed to pass. The smart IC has a system in which information is communicated and the open / close bar opens after it has been stopped before the open / close bar, so be sure to stop it.

Be careful of all riders!

In case of bad weather such as strong wind and rain, do not overdo it and rest early in the service area or parking area.

NO! Shoulder driving

Driving on the shoulder or overtaking from the left side of the vehicle is against the Road Traffic Act.

Danger! Slip through

It is very dangerous to slip through the traffic! If you suddenly change lanes on another vehicle, you may lose balance and fall, leading to an accident.
