From the silvery world covered with accumulated snow and icicles, you can see cute flowers popping out from the thaw, and wild rabbits waking up from hibernation and poking their heads out of the mountains. floating in In the sea, spring fish, firefly squid, sweet shrimp, increase sweetness and signal the arrival of spring.
Hokuriku, which used to be a far place from Tokyo, is also a short jump on the Shinkansen. Depart from Tokyo in the morning and enjoy Hokuriku delicacies for lunch. The world we don't know yet is waiting for us.

Editorial department M comment
Thank you for the wonderful description of the scene.
I think one of the charms of Hokuriku is the feeling of spring when the snow melts.
I'm sure a world of good memories awaits, so I'm looking forward to jumping in.

Fukui Prefecture Episode

Tokyo male

There are many historical temples and shrines as power spots in Fukui, but the best place to go is Moya Kuroryu Shrine. There are wishing stones, stroking stones, and yakuwari stones, which ward off evil spirits. In addition, there is a famous eel restaurant nearby, where you can eat bamboo steamed kabayaki.
Editorial department M comment
It's the best spot.
I would like to take advantage of the benefits, so I definitely want to go.
With eel of course.

Fukui prefecture woman

For me, spring in Hokuriku is like the garlic and onions that I planted in the fall, and the pansies and violas that I planted to bloom in the spring. After overcoming the harsh winter, when the snow thawed, the plants, which were flat and flat, suddenly became healthy in the sunlight, and I felt spring.
Editorial department K comment
From garlic to onions, pansies to violas, I imagined a very lively scene!
Seeing plants growing and blooming makes people feel better. Thank you for the wonderful spring visit!

Mie prefecture male

I used to visit Echizen Ono with my wife for a drive. I visited in the spring, but the beauty and coolness of Oshimizu, one of the top 100 famous waters, was very impressive. The “Imokintsuba” that a local person told me about at that time was excellent, and I buy it every time I go to Fukui.
Editorial department S comment
I was also surprised by the deliciousness of Oshimizu! Unintentionally. I took it home with a service that allows me to draw water in a plastic bottle (laughs)
Ono City is famous for its famous water, "Hongan Shimizu", which was selected as one of the 100 best waters of the Heisei era, and the water seems to be the blessing of the thaw.

Episode of Ishikawa Prefecture

Nagano woman

I visited Kanazawa 8 years ago on my son's 60th birthday invitation trip.
It took more than 4 hours from Shinshu before the Hokuriku Shinkansen opened.
Wakura Onsen Inn is half price on the day of your birthday!
A feast of fresh and delicious seafood that cannot be eaten in Shinshu, is this Ryugu Castle? !
I was happy and embarrassed to be dressed in red chanchanko.
I will be 70 years old in two years. I don't say it, but I'm thinking in my heart that the next time I'll be in the Kanazawa area is when spring is in full bloom.
Editorial department M comment
It's the best filial piety with the best memories. I hope you will come again. It seems that the key is to get your feelings out and let your son know. It might be a good idea to take this opportunity to say it clearly. I'm sure your son will be happy to hear that.

Aichi prefecture female

After seeing my father off after several years of battling illness, I went to Kanazawa with my mother to see the cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms along ASANO near Higashi Chaya District were also very beautiful, but the cherry blossoms along the Sai River were even more beautiful. As we strolled under a beautiful sky, admiring the rows of cherry trees in full bloom on both banks, the fresh spring air caressed our cheeks.
It was heartwarming to see the children from a nearby nursery school having fun walking with their nursery teachers.
I would like to go back there again someday to be surrounded by cherry blossoms.
Editorial department K comment
After reading the episode, I imagined myself walking along a row of cherry blossom trees in full bloom. I'm sure your father was with you next door. Also, please come with your mother to be wrapped in warm cherry blossoms.

Ishikawa prefecture female

We recommend "Noto Sakura Station", a famous cherry blossom spot that the locals are proud of. Many tourists come every year for about a week when the cherry blossoms bloom. As a local, I go to see it with my family on weekday nights. The paper lanterns are lit with lights, and the cherry blossoms at night are very beautiful. We also recommend viewing the cherry blossoms from the Noto train window!

Editorial department K comment
The cherry blossoms in full bloom and the lights of the lanterns looked like a piece that told the warmth of spring! I would like many people to see the cherry blossoms that can only be seen here.

Kyoto prefecture woman

Spring in Hokuriku means spring skiing.
Of course, skiing in winter is one of the pleasures, but spring skiing is also a little hot, so skiing in short sleeves is the best! !
And then hot springs.
Yamashiro Onsen is the hot spring that relieves fatigue. Soothe away your fatigue in the hot hot springs of Kosoyu.
Editorial department K comment
spring skiing... I've never tried it, but it sure feels good to slide on the snow in short sleeves. I also wanted to try spring skiing with the last hot spring set!

Ishikawa prefecture female

A lot of snow that fell in winter begins to melt, and the people of Hokuriku feel sunny and sunny.
Cherry blossoms are synonymous with spring. The cherry blossoms along the Sai River in Kanazawa are beautiful! When I was little, I often went to cherry blossom viewing with my friends.

Editorial department M comment
There are many famous places for cherry blossoms, including Kenrokuen.
You posted the feeling that the weather is changing and the mood is sunny and sunny, which is unique to the local area.

Shizuoka prefecture female

I went to Kanazawa in mid-March. At the market near the ferry terminal, I bought crabs just after molting for the first time.
It was the first time I had seen it, so I had a lot of trouble buying it, but when I ate it at home, I was surprised at how delicious it was!
I want to go shopping again.
Editorial department S comment
A crab that has just molted is a water crab!
In Fukui Prefecture, where I'm from, it's called "Zubogani" because the shell can be easily peeled off.
It's easier to eat than normal snow crab and I love it too!
Please visit us again to buy local ingredients.

Kanagawa female

Speaking of spring in Hokuriku, the ban on white shrimp will be lifted on April 1st!!
I look forward to traveling at this time of year every year as it is the time to enjoy the arrival of spring and the flavors of the season.
My biggest dream right now is to eat my fill of fresh white shrimp and seafood at Omicho Market (laughs).
Editorial department K comment
The white shrimp that gets sweeter the more you chew it, is truly exquisite! You can eat it as sashimi, and kakiage and karaage are also delicious. Next time, please take a drive from Kanazawa and extend your legs to eat the authentic Toyama white shrimp!

Toyama Prefecture Episode

Tokyo male

I used to live in Kurobe City, Toyama Prefecture, and picked up Hokuriku Expressway out of nostalgia.
When I think of spring in Hokuriku, I think of the forests of mansions reflected in the water-filled rice fields. In the rice paddies that spread far away, there were island-like patches of residential forests scattered about. The water in Toyama is delicious, so the rice is delicious!
Editorial department S comment
Thank you for posting such a beautiful view!
The editorial department is very happy to be able to help you remember the time when Hokuriku Expressway lived in Toyama Prefecture. Please enjoy delicious rice in Toyama!

Niigata Prefecture Male

In the fresh green season, I walked through Uozu's Chaotaki Falls.
The water, the air, the greenery, everything was fresh and fresh, and it was a moment when my heart was purified.
After a long walk, the Uozu seafood I ate on the way home was also very delicious.

Editorial department K comment
I was fascinated by the beautiful fresh green photos. Surrounded by mountains, including the Tateyama mountain range, Toyama Prefecture is known as the "Kingdom of Water, Toyama", which is home to many famous springs. From now on, it might be nice to visit famous waters while eating delicious things in season!

Oita prefecture female

Speaking of spring in Hokuriku, firefly squid throwing themselves!
Every time I see it on TV or Twitter, I am envying the mysterious images.
While savoring the premium firefly squid pickled off the coast, which I bought as a souvenir, along with sake, I am thinking about spring in Hokuriku.

Editorial department S comment
Firefly squid is called "sea gem" because it shines blue. Not only does it have a mysterious appearance, but it is also delicious because there are various ways to eat it, such as okizuke, sashimi, and black sashimi!
You can observe firefly squid fishing from a sightseeing boat at the "firefly squid marine sightseeing", so if you have the chance, don't miss it! (I will be visiting this year!)

Saitama prefecture woman

It was in Toyama Prefecture that I learned about spring in Hokuriku for the first time. Cherry blossoms, tulips, and other flowers bloom all at once, and the force of the water flowing down from the Shomyo Falls as the snow melts is spring! There was something that was transmitted to my whole body. The sound of squid fishing boats returning from the canal early in the morning when we stayed in Imizu City was a pleasant wake-up call. The firefly squid lined up at the fish co-op are translucent and sweet when eaten as sashimi. You can't meet such deliciousness unless you are local.
Editorial department M comment
I was able to imagine the scene, as I could see how it was interesting.
There may still be new discoveries in spring in Hokuriku, so please come visit us anytime.
