Traffic and Regulations
Nighttime road closures will be implemented on the E23 Higashi-Meihan Expressway between NagoyaNishi IC and Kanie IC (In-bound) and between Nagoya-NagoyaNishi JCT and Yatomi IC (Out-bound) from Tuesday, July 7th to Wednesday, August 5th, 2026 (the restricted area will vary depending on the day). Please use alternative routes such as the C2 Mei-Nikan Expressway-Kan Isewangan Expressway, and Prefectural Road 40.
Traffic and Regulations
The C2 Mei-Nikan Expressway Expressway will be closed at night from Hikiyama IC to Omori IC, and 13 other locations including JimokujiKita IC and Kusunoki JCT will also be closed at night from Wednesday, July 1st to Sunday, July 26th, 2026 (implementation dates and times vary depending on the restricted area). Please use alternative routes such as National Route 302.
Traffic and Regulations
Nighttime closures will be implemented at Takasu IC (In-bound entrance) and Hida-Kiyomi IC (Out-bound exit) on the E41 Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway Takasu IC will be closed from 8 PM to 6 AM the following day each day from Wednesday, July 1st to Friday, July 10th, 2026 (3 nights). Hida-Kiyomi from 8 PM to 6 AM the following day on Monday, July 6th and Friday, July 10th (1 night). ~Please use nearby interchanges or change your travel time.~

Regarding the arrest of a person who illegally used the road by falsifying their vehicle classification – We will take firm action against illegal use of the road.
