Gate Display Examples and Usage
There are 2 cases where you can use ETC.
Only vehicles equipped with ETC can use ETC exclusive lanes. Please do not use if you do not have in-vehicle ETC equipment or the card is not inserted.
Vehicles without in-vehicle ETC equipment can also enter the ETC/General lanes. As the vehicles in front of you may stop please drive carefully.
Lanes for ETC exclusive use and ETC/General lanes may switch depending on the time.
There are lanes where you cannot use ETC.
All vehicles may use these lanes but payment should be made in cash or by credit card. You cannot use wireless communication of the in-vehicle ETC equipment, but you can pay by your ETC card.
No vehicles can pass in the following 3 cases.
If the signal is "red", no vehicles can pass as the gate is closed due to inspection or tollgate staff may be crossing. We ask for your corporation not to pass through at these times. Please use another ETC lane or the "General" lanes.
