<Strengthen reverse running prevention measures>

Reverse running on the Expressway occurs once every two days in Japan. Expressway are one-way, and reverse is a potentially fatal act. Even during this opening section, countermeasures such as road marking are being implemented at ICs and JCTs.

What is Expressway numbering?

For the purpose of providing easy-to-understand directions for all users, including foreign visitors to Japan, we carry out numbering by adding route numbers to route names. "E" means Expressway, "C" means ring road, and Tokai-Kanjo Expressway is written as "C3".

Yoro Kai 1300 Festival
