What is a maintenance full harness?
On February 1, 2019, the Cabinet Orders and Ministerial Notifications regarding the regulation of safety harnesses were revised, changing the name of "safety harness" to "fall arrest device," and making the use of full harnesses the general rule at heights exceeding 6.75m (5.0m in the construction industry).
The full-body safety harness complies with the new standards and is designed to support the main parts of the body, so that in the event of a fall, the impact is distributed to multiple parts of the body, such as the thighs, shoulders, and waist.
