overview
Previously, when repairs (updates or replacements) were required for anchor bolts, the anchor bolts had to be reinstalled in a different location or new foundation work had to be installed, which was a major undertaking that involved "relocation work."
The "technology for easily updating (replacing) anchor bolts" utilizes the visual inspection nut "Inspection T-NUT®." If no deterioration is found in the existing foundation, it is possible to remove deteriorated anchor bolts and update (replace) them with new anchor bolts, leaving the equipment supports in their current state, eliminating the need for new concrete foundation construction or the removal, restoration, and relocation of support equipment.

The visual inspection nut technology "Inspection T-NUT®" is a NETIS registered technology, and has been verified to have no problems in the strength evaluation (structural strength examination) regarding Large of the anchor bolt hole in the base plate. Construction management can be visually checked at three stages: when injecting the adhesive resin, when inserting the anchor bolt, and when completion, so there are fewer factors that affect construction quality due to the ability and experience of the worker, resulting in stable quality. |

The newly installed "post-installed anchor bolts" have a bolt length that conforms to the existing anchor bolts, and are greater than the specified embedded length (10d) for the manufacturer's allowable tensile load, making it easy to ensure an anchor length that can guarantee a tensile strength greater than that of the original design, even when the existing foundation is subject to deterioration over time. Another feature is that they are not affected by the "drilled hole diameter or drilled length," and "there is no decrease in performance in wet holes." |

Improvement |
The time required to update (replace) one anchor bolt (M22) is approximately three hours (two bolts per day). |

As a method for installing anchor bolts, epoxy acrylate resin injection post-installed anchor technology is a well-known technology with a long track record, and there is almost no decrease in adhesive strength over time, making it highly reliable over the long term. |

Other technical |
With conventional anchor bolt technology, replacing only the corroded and damaged parts of post-installed anchor bolts is difficult, requiring the entire foundation to be replaced or the installation location to be relocated. However, this technology eliminates the need for relocation and allows for the equipment support columns to remain in their current state, allowing for the renewal (replacement) of only the deteriorated anchor bolts individually. This simplifies the work process, improving both workability and cost efficiency. |
