overview

NAKAROD is a method of suppressing the corrosion reaction of steel by installing a linear galvanic anode unit on the surface of concrete and connecting it to the steel material in the concrete to supply a corrosion protection current.
The use of a galvanic anode system eliminates the need for an external power source, significantly reducing the amount of maintenance required after installation. The electrolyte layer and sacrificial anode material are unitized in an FRP trough that is highly corrosion-resistant and weather-resistant, making this a system that can be easily installed on the concrete surface.

Features

  • There is no need to remove salt from the concrete.
  • Chipping of concrete can be kept to a minimum.
  • No commercial power supply is required.
  • Labor-saving anode installation reduces on-site work (lightweight at approximately 5 kg/m).
  • The service life is more than 30 years.
  • The length can be adjusted (on-site processing).
  • It is possible to visually inspect the condition of the concrete surface.
  • The electrolyte layer is made of a material that can supply current for a long period of time.
  • The sacrificial anode material is made of zinc alloy, which has excellent electrical corrosion protection properties.
