Termalast is a high-concentration calcium sulphonic acid alkyd resin paint developed by Termarust of Canada. It has been reported by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) as the best rust preventive paint considered as a 100-year paint. It has been used in more than 1,000 steel structures and marine equipment all over the world, including a track record of completely stopping rust on repair bridges that have passed 23 years. - Remove dust, oil, etc. from the construction surface.
- Apply the termalast at a temperature of 2 ° C or more and a humidity of 99% or less.
- Apply so that the film thickness is 200 to 400 μm when wet (100 μm or more when dry) depending on the substrate. (420 ml spray can: approx. 0.6 m2, 1 kg can: 3 m2 as a guide.)
- Termalast takes 24 to 48 hours to dry to the touch and approximately 30 days to fully cure. Because of its long curing time, polymerization shear shrinkage is small, and it adheres well to all types of paint films and metal surfaces.
