The load can be released even when there is no extra tendon length, and the load can be adjusted to the specified load.

Conventionally, ground anchors with a short tendon surplus had the problem that load unloading and load adjustment were not possible. This method solves these problems, and is an update technology that enables unloading of overloaded anchors that exceed the allowable anchor force and load adjustment to the increased side of a significantly reduced load anchor.

As a result, existing anchors that have problems can be regenerated, and the number of newly installed anchors can be reduced or eliminated, thereby reducing the cost of countermeasures required to ensure stability on the slope.

In addition, since the head of the anchor, which is likely to protrude from the service road, may be removed, and the head of the anchor that is significantly deteriorated can be removed, the effects of a third party can be prevented beforehand, improving safety and security.

In this method, the tendon is cut with a special bit to release the load, so that work can be done safely, no matter how short the extra length.

For tensioning and fixing after the load is released, a special fixing tool with a newly-developed pedestal is used at the same time, making it possible to adjust the load and replace the pressure plate, which were difficult after cutting tendon in the past.
