Response to the Next Generation Development Support Measures Promotion Law

While promoting the creation of an environment where each employee can continue to work energetically, we are working to support work-life balance. In fiscal 2017, we introduced a reemployment system (job return system) for employees who retired for various reasons, such as marriage and nursing care, and a spouse's overseas leave system.

Workplace promotion meeting for women

One of the achievements is the renovation of safe and functional “work clothes for women” suitable for the female body, and the “Child Care System Book” that summarizes our various systems related to childbirth and childcare. Is widely disseminated not only to female employees but also to male employees to promote the utilization of the system.

Female employee

  • Prohibit overtime and late-night work

    (Early pregnancy ~ 6 weeks before childbirth)

    During pregnancy, you may not work outside of work hours, on holidays, or at midnight.

  • Medical checkup leave

    (Early pregnancy-1 year old)

    During pregnancy or after childbirth, you can take a paid break to receive health guidance and medical examination.

  • Commuting ease

    (Pregnant)

    For commuting during pregnancy, you can change the commute time to avoid traffic congestion.

  • Maternity leave

    (6 weeks before childbirth-due date, childbirth-8 weeks after childbirth)

    You can rest for a period of 6 weeks before childbirth and 8 weeks after childbirth.

Common to all employees

  • Childcare time

    (Birth-1 year old)

    You can take a rest for 30 minutes, twice a day, up to 1 year old.

  • Childcare leave

    (From birth to the first March 31 after the date of reaching 3 years old)

    You may be closed for childcare until the first March 31 after the date you reach the age of three. The period can be changed once.

  • Partial suspension

    (Birth-3rd year elementary school completion)

    During the period up to the completion of the third grade of elementary school, working hours can be shortened or changed within 2 hours per day (in units of 30 minutes) for childcare.

  • Nursing leave

    (Birth-3rd year elementary school completion)

    You can take a paid day off for child care within 5 days every year until the completion of the third grade of elementary school.

  • Hourly leave

    (Birth-3rd year elementary school completion)

    During the period until the completion of the third grade of elementary school, you can take an hour off for child transportation to school or nursing.

  • Restrictions on overtime and late-night work

    (Birth-elementary school entrance)

    You may not work after school hours, after work hours, on holidays, or late at night.

  • Start / end time change

    (Birth-3rd year elementary school completion)

    During the period up to the completion of the third grade of elementary school, the start time and end time can be changed for pick-up and nursing of children.

Male employee

  • Spousal maternity leave

    (Day of hospitalization related to childbirth-2 weeks after childbirth)

    When your spouse gives birth, you can rest for a maximum of 3 days.

  • Childcare leave

    (6 weeks before childbirth-8 weeks after childbirth)

    When a spouse gives birth, he / she can take a paid leave for up to 5 days in the period of 6 weeks before childbirth and 8 weeks after childbirth.
